Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Nurse to join our team at Teethinline/Newport Pagnell Dental for 4 days Tuesday-Friday. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional patient care while assisting our dental professionals in delivering top-notch orthodontic treatments. This position is essential to ensuring a smooth and efficient operation within our practice.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists and orthodontists during procedures, ensuring a high standard of patient care.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain a clean environment.
- Manage patient records and appointments efficiently using practice management software.
- Provide support and reassurance to patients before, during, and after treatments.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans and oral health advice.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and assist in ordering when necessary.
Requirements
- Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certifications or experience in a similar role.
- Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach to healthcare.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively within a busy practice.
- Proficiency in IT systems related to dental practice management is preferred - R4 and Orthotrac
