Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting various operational tasks within our warehouse or construction environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills and gain valuable experience in a dynamic setting. The Labourer will be expected to work efficiently, adhere to safety standards, and contribute positively to team objectives.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials and components
- Emptying Extractor unit
- Supporting assembly and disassembly of structures or equipment as required
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Handling materials safely within the workshop, including lifting and moving items
- Operating basic machinery or equipment under supervision
- Stock organisation
- Following health and safety protocols at all times to minimise risks on site
- Odd delivery/collection with company vehicle
Skills
- Training will be provided for all duties
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour throughout the shift
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various tasks as needed
- If you show good intiative we may develop you on to some joinery skills leading up to a possible role.
Expected hours will be MON-FRI 8am to 3pm however we may be flexible on this.
Pay: £12.80 per hour
