We are seeking an organised and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team at Blackberry Veterinary Clinic on a full-time basis.
Set in an idyllic location, Blackberry Veterinary Clinic offers a varied and rewarding working environment where no two days are the same. Following a recent refurbishment, our practice now benefits from expanded consulting rooms, a dedicated cat waiting area and an upgraded laboratory. We provide a full range of first opinion veterinary services, including dentistry, radiography and surgery, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, multitasking and being part of a supportive team that genuinely cares about its clients, patients and colleagues.
As a Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for our clients, creating a welcoming and professional experience from the moment they arrive. You'll play an important role in ensuring every client journey runs smoothly while supporting the day-to-day operation of the practice.

Working Pattern
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and answer telephone enquiries in a friendly and professional manner
- Support the full client journey, from booking appointments through to processing payments
- Manage appointment diaries and maintain accurate client records
- Process prescription requests and prepare medications for clinical checks
- Assist with stock control, ordering and deliveries, including occasional light lifting
- Complete end-of-day banking procedures
- Maintain clean, tidy and well-stocked client-facing areas, including displays and information packs
- Contribute ideas to help improve the experience for clients, patients and colleagues
