Duties
- Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing materials and tools on-site to keep operations running smoothly
- Support skilled tradespeople by carrying out basic tasks such as mixing materials, cleaning work areas, and preparing sites for construction activities
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including wearing protective gear and adhering to site safety guidelines
- Help with site cleanup, waste removal, and maintaining a tidy work environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Operate simple machinery and equipment under supervision, such as forklifts or power tools when trained and certified
- Assist in setting up scaffolding, barricades, and other temporary structures as needed
- Support the team during various phases of construction projects to ensure timely completion
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions carefully
- Prior experience in construction or manual labor is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of basic safety procedures on construction sites is preferred
- Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation is advantageous but not mandatory
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
