Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Team Leader to oversee daily operations within our vibrant hospitality environment. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing front-of-house staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise front-of-house team members, including servers and hosts, to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Coordinate daily service operations, ensuring smooth flow and efficiency during busy periods.
- Assist with food preparation and serving when necessary, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
- Oversee the setup and breakdown of dining areas, ensuring cleanliness and organisation in line with food safety regulations.
- Monitor team performance, providing coaching and training to foster professional development.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards across all front-of-house activities.
- Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front and back of house.
- Support in managing reservations, organising seating arrangements, and maintaining an inviting atmosphere.
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality environments, ideally with supervisory or team management responsibilities.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, serving, and food safety procedures.
- Knowledge of culinary techniques, food production processes, and kitchen operations is desirable.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Previous experience in hotel or barista roles is advantageous.
- Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during high-pressure situations.
- Exceptional communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
