Rota Shift Mechanic

Pay Rate: £22.96 per hour + Overtime Available
Hours & Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week | Permanent
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Rota Shift Mechanic to join our busy Engineering Department at one of our city garages.

This is a permanent role for a fully qualified mechanic working a pre-allocated 4-over-7-day shift rota, consisting of day shift and back shift, 37.5 hours per week.

Who Are We Looking For?
- A time-served motor vehicle mechanic.
- Holder of a full UK driving licence.
- Someone with strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- A team player who can work effectively under pressure.
- A flexible and proactive approach to work.
- A willingness to continually learn and develop.
- Experience within the bus, coach, truck or heavy vehicle industry would be advantageous.
- A PCV licence is desirable; however, the ability and commitment to obtain one whilst employed by Lothian is essential.
