GH Housekeeping is looking for a reliable, hard-working, and detail-oriented Housekeeper / Cleaner to join our growing team in Telford on a self-employed basis!
We pride ourselves on delivering premium domestic and short-stay turnover cleaning across the local area. In this role, you’ll be responsible for keeping holiday homes, Airbnbs, and domestic properties immaculate, beautifully presented, and ready for guests or homeowners.

Responsibilities
High-Standard Cleaning: Complete thorough turnovers and domestic cleans, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and deep-sanitising kitchens and bathrooms.
Linen & Presentation: Strip and remake beds to hotel-grade standards using fresh on-site linen, set out guest towels, and neatly arrange cushions/decor.
Property & Damage Checks: Conduct quick visual checks throughout properties, testing fire alarms, restocking guest amenities, and immediately flagging any pre-existing damage.
Photo Updates: Take clear photo proof of completed work to confirm standards are met before leaving site.
Care of Equipment: Look after all cleaning equipment and products provided, ensuring items are safely stored and ready for the next job.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Proven experience in domestic, holiday let, or hotel housekeeping with an eye for detail.
Transport: Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own reliable vehicle with valid insurance (mileage paid).
DBS Check: Must hold a current DBS check or be willing to undergo one prior to starting. (provided by GH Housekeeping)
Self-Motivated & Reliable: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining top-tier quality standards.
Great Communication: Friendly, professional, and reliable with a customer-focused mindset.
What We Offer
Competitive Pay: £15.00 per hour plus paid mileage.
Flexible Hours: Approx. 10 hours per week to start (typically during daytime turnover windows, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM), tailored around your availability with opportunities for more hours as the business grows.
Supplies Provided: Professional equipment, cleaning products, and uniform provided.
