Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff to join our new team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service in a welcoming environment, ensuring guests have a memorable experience. This role involves engaging with customers, managing orders, and supporting the overall operation of our hospitality venue. Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is advantageous, along with a passion for food and beverage service. The position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within the hospitality industry while working in a vibrant setting.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and drinks in accordance with health and safety standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area
- Handle customer enquiries professionally and resolve any issues promptly
- Support barista duties, including preparing coffee and other beverages when required
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times
- Manage cash register operations and process payments accurately
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods
Experience
- Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality roles is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable
- Experience working in a restaurant environment or similar setting is advantageous
- Barista experience is a plus but not essential
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour are essential
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining high standards of service
- A genuine interest in food, drink, and delivering excellent customer experiences
