About Us
We are a facilities Maintenance Company formed in 2007, based in Bristol, covering the South West, South Wales, M4 Corridor and the Midlands. Since forming, we have prided ourselves on building close working relationships with all of our clients, resulting in excellent retention and repeat business. Some of our current clients include: Great Western Railway, CBRE, Avison Young, JLL, and many others. Our work covers reactive and planned maintenance, alongside bigger projects.
Due to demand in work, we are looking to recruit more general builders in the fabric sector of our team. You will be responsible for carrying out various works as part of both planned and reactive maintenance to a satisfactory standard for our commercial clients.
We invest in our employees by providing training, tools and all necessary PPE and Uniform. There is also the possibility to use your company vehicle for personal use. Your tools will be supplied on behalf of the company for the duration of employment.
SUMMARY
Mobile Engineers are required to work alone or as part of a team to complete call outs, reactive and project works on a variety of sites. Engineers are to maintain high standards of workmanship & Health & Safety at all times.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Carrying out reactive call outs or work on projects as required across all sites.
· Ensuring Health & Safety is adhered to at all times, attending toolbox talks/ training as required, following RAMs issued and completing dynamic risk assessments.
· Completing weekly timesheets and job reports/paperwork to clients’ standard, liaising with helpdesk or project manager over completion of jobs and providing real-time updates.
· Ordering materials and planning workload
· Assessing jobs and providing reports for further works or quotes.
· Any other reasonable tasks deemed necessary by Managers.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
· Relevant construction experience in Fabric Sector
· Trade qualifications - PASMA, IPAF, Asbestos, Manual Handling etc. (desired)
· No unspent criminal convictions, must complete enhanced DBS and be allowed to work around children/vulnerable adults
· Basic IT knowledge – able to use smart phones to update jobs
· Confident interpersonal / communication skills and able to adapt to clients’ requirements
· Good Health & Safety knowledge with the confidence to apply this to everyday scenarios and challenge any shortfalls
· Competent using a variety of hand and power tools
· Flexible approach to working and able to be placed on an ‘on-call’ rota
· Good organisational and time-management skills, able to manage workload and complete tasks to schedule
· Consistent and thorough in completion of paperwork
