Duties

- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings that reflect current culinary trends.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
- Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and safety protocols.
- Ensure the kitchen is organised, clean, and well-maintained at all times.
- Handle any customer feedback or complaints regarding food quality or service promptly and professionally.
Experience
The successful candidate will possess:
- Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or similar hospitality environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
- A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and preparation.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
