KERB are looking for a commercially minded Group Head of Finance to help shape the next phase of our growth.
Working closely with the Finance Director, CEO and leadership team, you’ll play a key role in driving commercial performance, supporting data-led decision making, and helping to scale a fast-growing hospitality and events business.
You’ll bring strong financial planning & analysis (FP&A) capability, using insight to drive revenue growth, margin improvement, and smarter decision-making across the business. Alongside this, you’ll lead on process improvement, systems optimisation, and further developing a finance function that’s fit for scale.
This is a hands-on role, from financial reporting and cashflow forecasting to audit and controls but your impact will come from how you partner and influence successfully. You’ll act as a trusted partner to senior leadership, driving both performance and profitability.

Partner with the FD, CEO and leadership team on key strategic and operational projects
- Develop commercial insight and data analysis to support revenue growth, margin improvement and cost control
- Act as a strategic business partner to non-finance teams to drive performance
- Identify and implement improvements to processes and controls
- Act as the subject matter expert for finance systems
- Ensure reporting is accurate, timely and provides clear insight to support decision-making
- Own and lead the annual budgeting process, partnering with stakeholders across the business
- Manage and maintain cashflow forecasting and projections
- Oversee the preparation of consolidated month-end and year-end financial statements
- Lead the Group’s annual audit process
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations across the Group and its divisions
- Support and contribute to the Group’s overall tax strategy
- Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing finance team

Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA)
- Strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a natural problem-solving mindset
- A continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on efficiency and better ways of working
- High levels of organisation, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to take initiative, think strategically, and drive positive change
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing and developing teams
- Experience supporting business growth and organisational change (highly desirable)
- Experience within leisure, hospitality, or events sectors would be advantageous
- Proficient in using finance systems, more specifically SAP Concur
- Experience with system implementations or upgrades is a plus
- Willingness to be hands-on and adaptable, contributing beyond your core remit when needed
