We're looking for a detail-oriented and commercially minded Pricing Assistant to join our Finance team at our Lutterworth Head Office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and supporting business performance through effective pricing strategies.
Working closely with the Pricing and Commercial teams, you'll play a key role in maintaining pricing integrity, supporting commercial decision-making, and helping deliver profitable growth across the business.
As a Pricing Assistant, you'll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the Pricing function, including:
- Managing the Pricing Team mailbox and responding to pricing and rate queries from Sales teams.
- Maintaining pricing data and system rates, ensuring accuracy and governance.
- Investigating daily pricing exceptions and resolving issues efficiently.
- Supporting the review and approval of customer pricing agreements and fixed rate agreements.
- Assisting with annual pricing reviews and rate increase programmes.
- Providing profitability analysis and support for long-term hire rate requests.
- Producing customer rebate statements and maintaining rebate trackers.
- Delivering reporting and analysis to support commercial decision-making.
- Building strong relationships with colleagues across Sales, Finance and Commercial functions.
- Identifying opportunities to improve pricing processes, controls and data management.
- Supporting wider commercial projects and ad hoc analysis as required.
