As Head Chef, you’ll create exceptional food to impress our customers, inspire and develop the entire kitchen team and ensure the highest standards are met.

The Role
As Head Chef, you’ll support and assist the smooth running of our café, overseeing food preparation, menu planning and seasonal specials. You’ll also work closely with other chefs of all levels, ensuring the kitchen adheres to all regulations, including sanitary and food safety guidelines. Maintaining professional relationships with staff, customers and suppliers is crucial.
Working patterns include weekends, school and public holidays, which are our busiest times. However, you’ll only work daytime shifts, no evenings!
The Person
To succeed as Head Chef, we expect you to demonstrate flair and innovation, be career-driven and have a big-picture perspective. Attention to detail is essential, as is effective communication with management and team members, both back and front of house. You’ll need to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
Being an excellent team player and a desire to develop, inspire and motivate your team is also important. Food Safety & Hygiene Level 2 is required.
Due to location own transport is essential.
