Job Description
This is an interesting and varied role where you will be responsible for support our UK users based outside of London. The role will allow you to develop your skills in areas such as excellent customer services, automation, problem-solving skills and secure IT support.
The successful candidate will work within a wider team to maintain a strong security stance, following strict processes and support to ensure the integrity of all IT services. Confident in deploying and operating a variety of systems to ensure that all environments are available, secure and operating as expected.
Key responsibilities include:

Being the first point of contact for users in a secure environment, dealing with a variety of requests that may need to be escalated

Providing technical support/input to team projects

Creating clear and concise reports to demonstrate the usage of our environments

Following strict process on data management

Supporting business critical systems

Availability on-site 5 days a week, with some travel to other offices
Hybrid working - our approach is to be in the office or on client site a minimum of 2 days per week. However, the actual time you spend and where you spend it will vary by role or assignment, including up to 5 days per week on a client site.
Qualifications
-
Experience working in a customer facing IT support role, handling support tickets and interacting with colleagues of varying seniority and IT proficiency levels.

Knowledge of Windows Operating systems, Azure, Office 365 and Intune.

Preferably experience managing platforms within Azure, specifically Azure Virtual Desktops.

A keen eye for detail with the ability to follow and produce clear, concise documentation.

Ability to communicate at all levels of an organisation with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT:
Candidates must possess UK single-nationality and have resided in the UK for a minimum of 5 years to obtain the security clearance level needed for this role. Candidates without this cannot be considered.

All PA people are required to undergo background checks and to achieve the Baseline Personnel Security Standard however, some UK roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting, where applicants must have at least 5 years of continuous residency in the UK.
