Gateway Logistics Group (GLG) is looking for reliable, customer-focused Delivery Drivers to join our growing team.
If you enjoy working independently, staying active, and providing excellent customer service, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. You'll be delivering and collecting parcels within a dedicated local area, using a company-provided van, with full support and training to help you succeed.

Working Hours
Full-time
Average working day of 9–12 hours
Approximately 70–95 parcel deliveries per day, plus collections
Your Responsibilities
As a Delivery Driver, you will:
Deliver and collect parcels safely and efficiently
Carry out daily vehicle safety checks
Drive responsibly and comply with all road traffic laws
Load and unload parcels from the vehicle
Follow planned delivery routes and schedules
Learn your allocated route to maximise efficiency
Provide outstanding customer service at every delivery
Complete all deliveries and collections accurately and on time
Carry out manual handling and heavy lifting where required
About the Role
This is a physically active role in a fast-paced environment, ideal for drivers who enjoy being on the road and working independently.
As this is a self-employed position, you will be responsible for submitting your own tax return. If you are new to self-employment, our team can provide guidance and support throughout the process.
What We're Looking For
To be considered for this role, you must have:
Previous multi-drop delivery experience (essential)
A full UK driving licence
A minimum of 2 years' experience driving long-wheelbase vans, such as a Mercedes Sprinter or Volkswagen Crafter
Be 25 years of age or over (insurance requirement)
A valid Right to Work in the UK
No unspent criminal convictions
A current DBS/CRB certificate
The ability to travel daily to our Norwich depot (near Asda, Drayton Road)
Driving Licence Requirements
Applicants must not have endorsements relating to the following offence codes:
CD40, CD50, CD60, CD70, CD80, CD90, DD40, DD60, DD80, DD90, DR10, DR20, DR30, DR40, DR50, DR60, DR70, DR80, DR90, IN10, MS50, UT50, or offence categories AC, BA, CD, DD, DG, DR, MR, MS, TT and UT.
