Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, with precision and care
- Greet customers warmly, take orders efficiently, and deliver excellent service to ensure satisfaction
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks to complement beverage offerings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, including counters, tables, and equipment
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to uphold hygiene standards and ensure safe food handling practices
- Manage cash register operations accurately, including handling transactions and giving correct change
- Support stock replenishment by monitoring inventory levels and restocking supplies as needed
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Barista or in a customer-facing food service role is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for hygiene and sanitation
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly for cash handling and inventory management
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods effectively
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with customers in a friendly, professional manner
- Capable of standing for extended periods while maintaining energy and focus throughout shifts
- A proactive attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
