⭐ Role Overview
Ackeee Tree Catering is looking for experienced, reliable staff to join our Carnival Crew. This role is fast‑paced, physically demanding, and requires confidence working in a busy festival environment. You must have previous experience in catering, food service, or high‑volume events.
⭐ Key Responsibilities
- Serving high‑volume food orders quickly and accurately
- Preparing and plating Caribbean dishes to Ackeee Tree standards
- Managing long queues and keeping service flowing smoothly
- Operating safely around hot equipment (grills, fryers, steam tables)
- Maintaining hygiene standards throughout the shift
- Handling cash/card payments confidently and accurately
- Working under pressure in a loud, crowded environment
- Supporting set‑up and pack‑down of the catering stall
- Communicating with the team to keep operations smooth and safe
⭐ Essential Experience
Candidates must have:
- Experience in catering, street food, festival work, or fast‑paced hospitality
- Ability to work quickly without compromising safety or quality
- Strong customer service skills
- Confidence handling food safely and following instructions
- Ability to stay calm and organised during peak rush periods
⭐ Desirable Experience
(Not required, but beneficial)
- Caribbean food service
- Food hygiene certification
- Cash handling experience
- Festival or outdoor event work
