Swimming Teacher (STA or Swim England Level 2)
Location: SE1, & SE7 South East London
Hours: Weekends (term‑time only, 40 weeks per year)
About Us
SwimKidz SE London is a well‑established swimming school teaching babies, toddlers and children up to 12 years old. Since 2008, we’ve delivered fun, progressive and professional lessons that build confidence, safety and a lifelong love of the water.
We are expanding our team and are looking for a passionate STA or Swim England Level 2 Swimming Teacher who is looking to become a Parent & Baby instructor, so enthusiasm for working with little ones is essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Teach babies, toddlers and children up to age 12 (depending on role)
- Deliver structured, progressive lessons following our scheme of work
- Build water confidence and essential lifesaving skills
- Ensure high standards of safety and safeguarding
- Record attendance and maintain accurate class information
- Create fun, engaging sessions tailored to individual needs
- Communicate positively with parents and children
- Demonstrate techniques, correct skills and support progression
- Carry out risk assessments and ensure safe use of equipment
- Assess swimmers’ abilities and award certificates appropriately
- Provide feedback to parents and evaluate session outcomes
About You
- STA or Swim England Level 2 qualification (and willingness to train for Parent & Baby)
- Confident, friendly and great with children and parents
- Reliable, professional and safety‑focused
- Passionate about helping children learn and progress
