We have an exciting opportunity for a Planner to join our busy transport operation working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. In this role, you'll be responsible for planning and optimising daily delivery routes, coordinating resources effectively and ensuring service levels are achieved safely, efficiently and cost-effectively. You'll work closely with drivers, customers and operational teams to keep the operation moving while responding to the changing demands of a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Salary up to £31900 per annum.

- Previous experience within transport, logistics, planning, administration or coordination roles.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence liaising with drivers, customers and operational teams.
- Good IT and data management skills.
- A proactive approach to problem solving and decision making.
- An understanding of transport operations would be advantageous.
- Previous experience of Transport Management Systems (TMS) would be beneficial.
- Experience using Tachomaster or similar driver compliance systems would be highly desirable.
- Looking to develop your career within transport planning and logistics.
- Calm and resilient under pressure, with the ability to adapt to changing operational demands.
