Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain & Logistics Manager to oversee and optimise our organisation’s supply chain operations. This role involves managing end-to-end logistics processes, implementing process improvements, and ensuring seamless coordination across all supply chain functions. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing overall supply chain performance through strategic planning and utilisation of advanced ERP systems and analytical tools. Duties
- Develop, implement, and oversee supply chain strategies to optimise procurement, inventory management, transportation, and distribution processes.
- Analyse supply chain data using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and SQL to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process optimisation.
- Utilise ERP systems including SAP ERP, Oracle EBS, and SAP to manage procurement workflows, inventory levels, and logistics operations effectively.
- Lead process improvement initiatives employing methodologies such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, and root cause analysis to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and ensure alignment with organisational goals.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics performance, inventory accuracy, order fulfilment rates, and cost reduction targets.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods whilst maintaining quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement projects focused on reducing waste, lowering costs, and improving service levels across the supply chain.
- Prepare detailed reports on supply chain performance using Power BI or Tableau for senior management review.
Skills
- Extensive experience with ERP systems such as SAP ERP, Oracle EBS, and other supply chain management software.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Proven expertise in process improvement methodologies including Six Sigma and Kaizen.
- Advanced knowledge of logistics operations including transportation planning and warehouse management.
- Ability to utilise data visualisation tools such as Tableau and Power BI for reporting insights.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis to address operational issues effectively.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external partners at all levels of the organisation.
