Production Operator
£13.50 per hour + £0.79 shift allowance | Rotating shifts -£14.29
We are recruiting for an experienced Production Operator to join a manufacturing site in BB18 area producing springs and components used in mattresses, sofas and other furniture.
You will operate specialist spring manufacturing machinery, producing components to the required quality and production targets.
The role:
- Operating two spring manufacturing machines
- Stacking finished spring units
- Operating and assisting with packing machinery
- Working to production and quality targets
- Carrying out basic machine checks
- Reporting machine faults and quality issues
- Completing production paperwork
- Keeping machinery and the production area clean and tidy
- Working as part of a production team
Minimum 6 months' manufacturing or machine operating experience required.
FLT experience is an advantage.
Shifts: 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm, rotating weekly
Basic pay: £13.50 per hour
Shift allowance: £0.79 per hour
