We are currently recruiting for multiple roles across our busy day shift, including Assembly Operatives, Paint Operatives, Press Brake Operatives and Welders.
Responsibilities
- Carry out manufacturing activities to the required quality and production standards, depending on the role.
- Operate workshop machinery, tools and equipment safely and effectively, following relevant procedures and production documentation.
- Complete work accurately and efficiently, meeting production targets and customer specifications.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met, reporting any defects, machine faults or production issues to the Team Leader.
- Maintain a clean, safe and efficient working environment, following health & safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Work collaboratively with the wider production team to achieve production targets and deadlines.
- Follow engineering drawings, specifications and work instructions relevant to the role.
Requirements
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, fabrication, engineering or production experience is preferred.
- Relevant experience in assembly, painting, press brake operation or welding would be advantageous depending on the role.
- Engineering or manufacturing experience will be considered, with training provided where required.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings is desirable.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good understanding of health & safety requirements within a manufacturing environment.
Standard Days: Monday to Thursday 8AM – 4:30PM OR 7AM - 3:30PM (Finish 1 hour early every Friday).
Rate of Pay: £12.71 - £13.25 per hour (dependent on role and experience).
