About the Role
Durant Sports designs and installs cricket net facilities and related sports infrastructure for schools, clubs, and county grounds across the UK. We're looking for an experienced Artificial Grass & Floor Layer to join our installation team, working on site across multiple projects nationwide.
Key Details
- Hours: 45 hours per week, with overtime available
- Travel: Willing to work away from home for extended periods as required by project locations
- Team: Working as part of an installation crew on active project sites
Key Responsibilities
- Installing artificial grass and synthetic sports flooring systems to a high standard
- Preparing and levelling groundworks ahead of surface installation
- Operating plant machinery (digger, dumper) where required on site
- Working accurately to project specifications and technical drawings
- Maintaining a safe, tidy, and professional work site
- Collaborating with the wider installation team to hit project deadlines
Experience & Skills
- Previous experience laying artificial grass and/or sports flooring essential
- Groundworks experience preferred
- Digger and dumper driving experience preferred (relevant tickets/certification a bonus, but not essential)
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Good attention to detail and pride in a quality finish
- Willingness and flexibility to work away from home on site as projects require
