We are seeking a values-led Non-Executive Director to provide support, scrutiny and constructive challenge across the full Board agenda while bringing particular expertise in digital transformation and technology.
As we continue to embrace innovation, data and artificial intelligence to improve outcomes for patients, staff and populations, you will contribute strategic insight into the opportunities and risks associated with digital change at scale.
Appointed by our Council of Governors, you will be accountable to our members and communities, uphold the highest standards of integrity and corporate governance, and play a key role in supporting us through the next phase of our transformation journey.
We are looking for an accomplished leader with significant board-level or equivalent experience gained within complex, regulated and customer-focused organisations. While previous NHS experience is not essential, you will bring a strong track record of leading digital transformation, innovation or technology-enabled change at scale, together with an understanding of the associated governance, risk and assurance requirements. An inclusive leader, you will be comfortable operating within a unitary board environment and will demonstrate a commitment to improving experience, outcomes and equity for our workforce and the diverse populations we serve.
We want our Board to provide a broad spectrum of lived experience and are keen to attract candidates who can bring diverse perspectives. We welcome expressions of interest from the widest possible range of backgrounds, particularly those who are under- represented at Board level in the NHS.
