Job Description:
Experienced Full-Time Receptionist required for General Medical Practice in Notting Hill
37.5 Hours per week: The successful candidate will need to be very flexible and be able to work different shifts, including helping to cover when needed for sickness and holiday leave.
Working Monday-Friday and shifts are between 7:45am-7pm
We are seeking an exceptionally motivated individual to join our friendly, dynamic and busy GP practice. We are preferably looking for a local person with an excellent telephone manner. Previous medical GP reception experience using SystmOne, would be preferred but training will be provided to candidates with strong customer service and communication skills.
You will need to be well-presented, enthusiastic, a team player and highly motivated. An ability to communicate effectively on all levels and excellent IT skills are essential
This is a demanding role where you will be working as part of a very busy team. As you will be the first point of contact for patients’ and visitors’ to the Surgery, you will need to be able to present a welcoming and professional appearance while being able to cope with the demands of a busy face to face/telephone triage environment.
The successful applicant will be a proactive team member, who can demonstrate efficient organisational and prioritisation skills, in order to contribute to the smooth operation of the reception team. They will also possess both, exceptional timekeeping and attendance and have excellent time management skills.
They will be a great team player and also very capable of working alone and using their own initiative.
