We are a modern, well-organised private dental practice seeking an experienced lead dental nurse to oversee clinical standards, support the nursing team, and maintain a calm, structured working environment. This role suits a nurse who enjoys leadership, organisation, and working within clear systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical leadership — Oversee daily clinical operations and ensure smooth running of surgeries
- HTM 01‑05 compliance — Maintain infection control and decontamination standards
- Team support — Guide the nursing team and support trainee development
- Stock & equipment management — Manage ordering, rotation, equipment checks, and surgery readiness
- Clinical governance — Assist with audits, record‑keeping, and compliance documentation
- Patient care — Deliver a warm, reassuring patient experience and support clinicians chairside.
What We’re Looking For
- Experienced Lead or Senior Nurse (minimum 3 years nursing experience)
- Calm, mature communicator who supports a positive, drama‑free team culture
- Confidence managing a trainee and guiding junior staff
- Reliable, punctual, structured in daily practice
- Comfortable working autonomously within clear systemsRequirements
- GDC registration as a Dental Nurse
- Minimum 3 years’ experience (Lead or Senior Nurse preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HTM 01‑05
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to maintain high clinical standards consistently
