Location: Wimblington, near March, Cambridgeshire
Job type: Full-time, permanent
£12.71-£13.50, depending on background, with progression as your skills grow.
Cambridge Natural Solutions is a soil, plant and crop analysis laboratory serving farmers and agronomists across the region. We're looking for someone with an interest in agriculture, horticulture or science, who wants to learn skilled laboratory work from the ground up.
You don't need laboratory experience. If you're careful, methodical and keen to learn, you'll be trained hands-on by two highly experienced lab specialists who between them cover everything the lab does.
The role
You'll prepare soil and plant samples for analysis — the essential first stage that everything else depends on — and work alongside our experienced team every day. As you develop, you'll be trained to operate the lab's analytical instruments and learn how the science behind the results actually works. It's a genuine opportunity to build real, transferable expertise in a growing field.

- A careful, methodical approach and good attention to detail
- Reliability and a genuine willingness to learn
