Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility to ensure their comfort and safety
- Support with medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols
- Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary requirements and preferences, ensuring proper meal hygiene and presentation
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of loneliness
- Help with light housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and organizing to maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Manage behavior and implement care plans for clients with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or other cognitive impairments
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently, including first aid response when necessary, to ensure client safety at all times
Experience
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly desirable
- Proven skills in patient care, caregiving, or senior care roles with a focus on dementia or Alzheimer’s care
- Knowledge of hospice care practices and managing complex health needs in a home setting
- Experience with medication administration, behavior management, and emergency response procedures such as first aid
- Drivers and non drivers
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely when assisting with mobility or household tasks
- Excellent communication skills combined with compassionate caregiving approach to foster trust and rapport with clients

Pay: £12.80-£13.00 per hour
