Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team for 6 hours per week, spread across 5 days (working days negotiable).
The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, with a particular focus on ensuring toilet facilities are kept clean, sanitised, and well-presented at all times.
The successful candidate will take pride in their work and play a key role in creating a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for both clients and staff. Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to high standards
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure bins are emptied regularly
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any issues promptly
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Adapt to different cleaning schedules as required, including early mornings or late evenings if necessary
Skills
- Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Good organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Excellent communication skills in English to understand instructions and liaise effectively with team members
- Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude towards clients and visitors
- Valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving travel between sites
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with colleagues and report issues efficiently
