Club OCHO is a private members’ club offering exceptional hospitality, dining, drinks, cultural experiences and private events.
As our events and private hire business continues to grow, we are looking for an Events Executive to help drive bookings and deliver memorable experiences from the very first enquiry to the final guest leaving the building.
This is a brilliant opportunity for an organised, commercially minded hospitality professional who loves working with people, creating experiences and getting the smallest details right.
The Role
You’ll take ownership of events throughout the guest journey — responding to enquiries, converting opportunities into bookings, coordinating the details and helping ensure every event is delivered to the standard our members and guests expect.
You will:
- Respond promptly and professionally to event and private hire enquiries
- Build strong relationships with members, guests and external clients
- Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings and help grow events revenue
- Prepare proposals, menus, quotations and event details
- Understand each client's brief and translate it into a memorable experience
- Coordinate closely with the kitchen, bar, front-of-house and management teams
- Prepare event schedules and communicate operational requirements
- Be present at events where required, ensuring everything runs smoothly
- Anticipate potential issues and resolve them before they affect the guest experience
- Follow up with clients after events and identify opportunities for repeat business
- Maintain accurate event records, deposits, bookings and client information
- Continually look for opportunities to develop OCHO's events and private hire offering
Who We're Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Naturally organised and highly attentive to detail
- Commercially switched-on and confident converting enquiries into bookings
- Warm, professional and confident when speaking with members and clients
- An excellent communicator, both written and verbal
- Calm and solutions-focused when plans change
- Comfortable selling without ever feeling pushy
- Experienced in events, hospitality, sales, private hire or a related environment
- Able to manage multiple enquiries and events without losing sight of the details
- Proactive and happy to take ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do
- Genuinely passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences
Experience within a restaurant, hotel, private members’ club, events venue or luxury hospitality environment would be particularly advantageous.
