Finance Manager - Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire
£50,000-£55,000 pro rata
Part-time 24-30 hours per week Monday to Friday.

We are looking for a commercially astute fully qualified accountant to lead the finance function of a diverse group who provide mechanical products and service contracts to the leisure and tourism markets.
Reporting into the Managing Director, this is a hands-on varied role working across the different companies, collaborating with multiple stake holders, leading a team of two finance administrators, and taking responsibility for the group’s financial reporting, controls and management information.

Key Responsibilities
· Prepare accurate monthly management accounts.
· Produce management reports, financial analysis and KPI reporting.
· Prepare budgets, forecasts and cash flow forecasts.
· Monitor financial performance and investigate variances.
· Oversee purchase ledger, sales ledger and bank reconciliations completed by the Finance Administrators.
· Review and submit VAT returns and ensure statutory compliance.
· Maintain strong financial controls and recommend process improvements.
· Liaise with external accountants and support year-end accounts.
· Lead, support and develop two Finance Administrators.
· Provide financial insight to support the operational and commercial leadership teams.
The ideal candidate
· ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualification
· Experience preparing management accounts for a diverse commercial enterprise.
· Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
· Strong Excel and accounting systems knowledge.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· A hands-on approach and willingness to support operational finance activities.
· Strong communication and organisational skills.
