Established in 2013, we are an independent, family-run business combining a bustling daytime coffee bar, occasional evening wine bar, and boutique gift shop. We’re all about great vibes, incredible coffee, seasonal cocktails, and fresh locally sourced food - served with authentic, friendly energy.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Working in tandem with our current Manager, you’ll set the tone for every shift - keeping energy high and operations running smoothly. Your key focus will be:
- Leading & Inspiring: Motivate, mentor, and build a young, close-knit team through hands-on coaching and dynamic leadership.
- Crafting the Vibe: Run shifts with enthusiasm, connect with guests, and ensure everyone leaves with a smile.
- Staying Ahead of Trends: Drive menu development across coffee, drinks, and seasonal food, keeping our offerings fresh, creative, and on-trend.
- Hands-on Hospitality: Everything from barista duties and cocktail making to customer relationship building, shift setups, and stock management.
- Business Growth: Work closely with the owners on sales incentives, menu specs, GP%, labour targets, and day-to-day operational consistency.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience: At least 2 years in hospitality management (busy cafes or restaurants).
- Mindset: An upbeat, positive, problem-solving attitude with the ability to think fast on your feet.
- Skillset: Proven track record in managing food/labour ratios, shift runner expertise, and strong food safety awareness (EHO knowledge a bonus).
- Flexibility: Comfortable working 35 - 40 hours across 5 days, including one weekend day.
