Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team and maintain high standards of cleanliness across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all areas are hygienic, organised, and presentable, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Previous janitorial experience and familiarity with commercial cleaning procedures are advantageous. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting with a focus on quality and attention to detail
Hours will be- Friday 8am-10am
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, washrooms, corridors, and communal areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and products
- Dust surfaces, vacuum carpets, mop floors, and disinfect high-touch areas regularly
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and soap in designated areas
- Ensure waste disposal is carried out efficiently and bins are emptied regularly
- Maintain cleaning schedules and report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment at all times
- Use specialised cleaning tools for specific tasks as required
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Attention to detail to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina for lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene

Pay: £13.50 per hour
