Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented material converter and Packer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products are accurately cut, packed and prepared for shipment, adhering to quality control standards. This role requires a strong focus on efficiency and accuracy while handling various materials and equipment.
Duties
- convert large rolls of materials to smaller rolls of various sizes.
- Engage in picking and packing of products according to order specifications.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all items meet company standards before dispatch.
- Perform heavy lifting as required, safely handling materials throughout the packing process.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling techniques are followed.
- Handle materials efficiently, maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Factory or packing environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous.
- Experience in picking and packing operations is beneficial.
- Ability to perform quality control checks effectively.
- Capable of heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) and physically demanding tasks.
- Proficient in load unloading procedures for safe material handling.
- Basic English and maths skills
