A prestigious, doctor-led aesthetics and wellness clinic in central London is looking for a Senior Clinic Nurse to join our friendly clinical team, on a Full Time basis in a procedural, out-patient setting.
Essential requirements of senior clinic nurse:
- NMC registered – 4 years minimum
- Phlebotomy experience – 4 years minimum
- Previous experience in a senior, lead, or supervisory nursing role
- Aesthetics clinical experience – desirable
- Experience in a service role in a luxury environment – desirable
- Exceptional client care, leadership and organisational skills
- Refined in manner, inviting personality, culturally aware with a can-do attitude
- Flexible to work outside of regular hours for ad-hoc duties
Job duties for the senior clinic nurse include:
- Setting up and maintaining clean, safe and fully prepared treatment rooms, ensuring the highest standards of clinical hygiene, infection prevention and presentation are consistently maintained
- Screening clients using 3D visualisation systems and taking pre- and post-treatment photographs in line with agreed clinical protocols
- Supporting aesthetic doctors during procedures and accurately recording details of treatment plans, products used, consumables, batch numbers and follow-up requirements
- Educating clients on treatment plans, aftercare and ongoing care plans, ensuring questions are answered clearly and professionally
- Rapidly and effectively escalating any medical issues, clinical concerns or client safety risks to the Medical Doctor, Medical Director or relevant leader
- Taking senior ownership of consumable stock levels and clinical supplies, coordinating orders that are accurate, timely and cost-conscious, and ensuring treatment rooms and stock are always ready for use
- Taking ownership of nursing and practitioner task lists, ensuring actions are clearly allocated, followed up and completed within agreed timeframes
- Supporting the day-to-day organisation of nurses and practitioners, ensuring client preparation and follow-up actions are completed to the required standard
- Liaising with nursing, medical and administrative colleagues to maintain and improve CQC standards
- Acting as a senior clinical resource for nurses, practitioners and new employees, supporting onboarding, training and consistent ways of working
- Advocating for excellence in client care, maintaining strict confidentiality, privacy and dignity for all clients
- Participating in performance improvement, clinical audit, compliance and quality improvement activities
- Completing administrative tasks including clinical documentation, treatment notes and compliance-related records
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, with one Saturday per month and one late shift per week (until 7.30pm)
