Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a childcare setting and a genuine passion for early childhood education. While a Level 3 qualification in childcare is preferred, it is not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children mainly aged 0-2 years but occasionally 2-5 years
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development
- Observe and assess children’s progress, maintaining accurate records
- Collaborate with parents and families to support children’s individual needs
- Work as part of a team to ensure high standards of care
- Contribute to the overall ethos and culture of the nursery
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working in a childcare setting is essential
- Level 3 qualification in childcare is preferred but not essential
- Understanding of child development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
