Job Title: Catering Manager
Grade/Salary: Grade E, SCP 12-15, £28,598 to £30,024 per annum, pro rata
Contract Type: Permanent
Contract Terms: 32.5 hours, Part Time, Term Time + 5 Inset Days (7:30-14:30, but can be negotiated)

The Governors are looking to appoint an experienced and suitably qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated Catering Manager to work in our busy school kitchen. Being professional, loyal to the school, being able to work on your own initiative and manage a team, having a flexible approach and the ability to work effectively as part of the St Stephens Team are essential.
You will need to be able to work with the School Leadership Team and colleagues in creating, inspiring and embodying the Christian ethos and culture of this church school, securing its Mission Statement with all members of the school community and ensuring an environment that empowers both children and staff to achieve.
You will have a passion for quality produce and nutritional value being creative with food menus by providing healthy but cost-effective freshly made meals. A commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene is essential.
