We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual to join our New Business team as a New Business Assistant.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys speaking with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has excellent administrative and customer service skills. No previous legal experience is required full training will be provided.
About the Role
As a New Business Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for many of our new clients, helping them begin their conveyancing journey. You'll play a key role in delivering an excellent first impression while ensuring new instructions are processed efficiently and accurately.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Speaking with prospective and existing clients via telephone and email.
- Assisting clients with onboarding and opening new files.
- Providing quotations for residential conveyancing matters.
- Collecting information required to start transactions.
- Carrying out client identification and compliance checks.
- Liaising with mortgage brokers, estate agents and other third parties.
- Updating our case management system with accurate information.
- Managing new enquiries and allocating work to the appropriate teams.
- Supporting the wider New Business team with general administrative tasks.

- Eager to learn and develop within a growing law firm.
Desirable (but not essential)
- Previous experience in customer service, administration or a call-handling role.
- Experience working in a professional office environment.
- An interest in the legal or property sector.
