About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled and reliable HGV Driver to join our busy haulage team based in Tewkesbury. This is a Class 2 / Category CE position, though newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply — full training and support will be provided.
You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient distribution of fresh products across the UK, working in a temperature-controlled, multi-drop delivery environment.
Hours: 48 hours per week (average roster), 5 shifts per week, night shifts (start times between 22:00 – 03:00)
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate HGV vehicles (Category CE or C) in line with UK driving laws and tachograph regulations
- Carry out multi-drop deliveries, ensuring accuracy, product quality, and correct stock rotation
- Complete daily vehicle checks and promptly report any defects
- Load and unload goods safely, including manual handling tasks
- Maintain food hygiene, health & safety, and security standards at all times
- Use handheld units or manual systems to record deliveries, returns, and payments
- Keep your vehicle clean and presentable
- Provide excellent customer service and act professionally at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Full UK driving licence – Category CE
- Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, flexible, and comfortable working night shifts and occasional weekends
- New pass drivers welcome – full training and career development provided
