George Allinson (Transport) Ltd established over 60 years in Darlington. With high volume warehousing facilities and solid customer base are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers pay in the region of between £45,000 to £55,000 per year.
We offer long term permanent employment with a fleet of well maintained vehicles and trailers.
HGV Class 1 Trampers with various requirements for nights out. We are also looking for reliable drivers for day shifts. Preferably for days and all positions you should be local to Darlington or close by. Drivers Required on General Haulage
Currently looking for Class 1 HGV (C+E) drivers to work out of our depot in Darlington.
Nights out will be required plus a combination of nights out and home nights if required dependent on the operational requirements.
Rates of pay £14.00 per hour for 11 hours THEN £21.00 per hour. after 12 hours. Saturdays £21.00 ph. if you are available Sundays to go away then Sundays are £28.00 per hour, 1 hour off for breaks per day. Nights out £26.50
Nights out and additional hours can take earnings over £55,000 per year
A flexible approach to work is required and some Saturday morning working may be required.
Experience of distance work is an advantage with a good knowledge of the main UK roads. We will consider inexperienced drivers with the willingness to learn fast and settle in to a permanent career.
The vast majority of the work will be on curtain sided vehicles .
