As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Supervisor to join our Finance team based in Bournemouth.
The Role
We are looking for an organised and experienced Purchase Ledger Supervisor to oversee the purchase ledger function, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and suppliers are paid on time.
You will supervise the purchase ledger process, support the wider finance team, and play a key role in maintaining efficient financial operations across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise the day-to-day purchase ledger function.
Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve account queries.
Prepare and process payment runs.
Ensure all invoices are authorised and coded correctly.
Maintain accurate financial records and support month-end processes.
Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve discrepancies.
Support continuous improvements to purchase ledger processes.
Use Procure Wizard to manage the purchasing and invoice workflow.
About You
Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable supervisory role.
Advanced experience using Procure Wizard is essential.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and finance systems.
Able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience within hospitality or a multi-site business is desirable.
