Team Member / Soufflé Pancake Maker (Permanent) – Kochi Cafe, Tunbridge Wells

The Role
- Hours: 15–21.5 hours per week (no early morning shifts)
- Days: 2–3 days per week
- Weekend availability: At least one weekend day is required
- Location: Lower Ground Floor, Royal Victoria Place, Tunbridge Wells, TN1 2SR
- Pay: £11.50–£12.90 per hour, depending on experience
- Start Date: ASAP
What You'll Be Doing
- Prepare and perfect our signature Japanese soufflé pancakes (full training provided to achieve the perfect fluffy texture).
- Prepare and organise ingredients for the following day's production.
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and toppings, replenishing supplies as required.
- Maintain excellent food hygiene standards and keep the kitchen and café clean, organised, and well presented.
- Complete daily opening and closing duties.
- Work closely with the rest of the team to deliver a smooth and enjoyable customer experience.
What We're Looking For
- Previous baking or cooking knowledge or experience is required.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and consistency in a fast-paced environment.
- A genuine passion for cooking, baking, and learning new skills.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to take pride in your work.
- Friendly, reliable, and able to work well as part of a team.
- Flexible with working hours, including weekends.
- Strong multitasking, time management, and attention to detail.
