Responsibilities

- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all stages of food handling
- Organise ingredients and kitchen tools efficiently to optimise workflow
- Support the team in plating and presentation of dishes to ensure visual appeal
- Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment and work areas regularly
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service during service hours
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene
- Experience working in a restaurant or similar hospitality environment is preferred
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and culinary practices
- Previous experience serving or interacting with customers is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
