We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Storeperson to join our busy team. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Receive, inspect and verify incoming goods against delivery notes or purchase orders.
· Organise and store items in designated locations.
· Maintain accurate records of stock movements using inventory management systems.
· Prepare and pack goods for dispatch, ensuring proper labelling and documentation.
· Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory audits.
· Report stock shortages, damages or discrepancies to supervisor.
· Ensure the store area is clean, organised and compliant with safety regulations.
· Operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment (if certified) safely and effectively.
· Assist other departments with material requisitions and deliveries as needed.
· Carry out stock checks on workshop containers on arrival back from projects and restock.
· Prepare equipment for projects.
SKILLS/QUALITIES:
· Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in a stores, warehouse, or inventory management role.
· Strong understanding of inventory control and stock management principles.
· Experience using warehouse management systems.
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
· Strong organisational and time management skills.
· Good written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure.
· Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
· Be prepared to help with other duties around that workshop and yard.
