Job Title: Junior Pre-Construction Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a proactive individual to join our collaborative estimating and design team. In this role, you will work alongside experienced design engineers across the entire project lifecycle, from initial tender submissions and site surveys to detailed electrical design work once contracts are secured.
Key Responsibilities
- Take-Offs & Estimations: Measure and extract accurate material quantities from project drawings, specifications, and schematics to support cost estimation.
- Site Surveys: Assist with initial site visits to evaluate existing electrical infrastructure, access points, and site constraints.
- Tender Bids: Help prepare, compile, and format competitive tender proposals and bid documentation for upcoming projects.
- CAD Drafting: Produce and amend detailed 2D CAD layouts.
- Post-Win Electrical Design: Assist senior engineers in developing full electrical systems designs (lighting, power, cable calculations, containment) for secured projects.
- Client & Subcontractor Liaison: Coordinate with suppliers, specialist subcontractors, and internal site teams to gather accurate technical data and quotes.

- Qualifications Support: Attendance at Further Education college as required to achieve HNC, HND, or Degree qualifications.
