We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse and Dispatch departments by performing various tasks related to the handling, storage, and distribution of goods. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Hours:
Monday-Thursday 07.30-16.00
Friday 07.00-12.00
Responsibilities
- Load and unload goods from lorries and containers.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications.
- Stock shelves and maintain an organised inventory.
- Supply machinery with materials to fulfil upcoming workloads.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Handle materials with care to prevent damage during transportation.
- Assist in packing, shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with quality control processes is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg).
- Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for operating equipment effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
