- 7:00am – 5:00pm
- 30-minute unpaid break
We are recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a busy metal recycling site in Saltley, Birmingham.
The majority of the role will involve operating the Counterbalance FLT, however, you will also be expected to get off the machine and support the wider team with manual yard and recycling duties.
- Operating Counterbalance FLTs safely around the recycling yard

Loading and unloading wagons and containers

Moving scrap metal and recyclable materials around the site

Loading and moving bins, pallets and materials
-
Sorting and handling metal materials
-
Supporting with general manual yard labouring duties
-
Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe

Carrying out daily FLT checks

Following all site health & safety procedures
- B1 & B2 Counterbalance experience preferred

Any recognised FLT ticket will be considered

Previous Counterbalance experience essential

Metal recycling / scrap yard experience beneficial

Must be comfortable carrying out manual labouring alongside FLT duties
