Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash disposal to keep all areas spotless.
- Use specialized cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure effective sanitation of floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures to uphold a professional appearance.
- Follow established safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure a safe environment for all staff and visitors.
- Adhere to company policies regarding hygiene standards and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Assist with occasional deep cleaning projects or special sanitation requests as needed.
Skills
- Proven experience in domestic commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality cleanliness standards.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and pressure washers safely and effectively.
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled hours.
- Knowledge of proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals for safety compliance.
