We provide a range of services including domiciliary home care, Live-in Care and personalised support, working with private clients, families, local authorities and healthcare professionals.
As part of our continued growth and expansion, we are now establishing a new CareUK247 branch in Peterborough.
We are looking for an ambitious Registered Manager who would like the opportunity not simply to manage a service, but to help establish, develop and grow a new branch from the beginning.
The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced care professional who wants to combine care leadership, operational management and business development.
Initially, you will work closely with CareUK247's senior management team to support the successful CQC registration and launch of the Peterborough branch.
Following registration, you will take responsibility for developing and managing the service, building the local team and growing the branch across Peterborough and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Leading the CQC registration and successful launch of the Peterborough branch
- Managing the branch in accordance with CQC regulations and CareUK247 standards
- Recruiting, developing and retaining a high-quality care team
- Developing new domiciliary home care clients
- Growing private and Live-in Care services
- Building relationships with local authorities, healthcare professionals and community organisations
- Developing relationships with local care and nursing homes to generate temporary staffing opportunities
- Supporting local marketing, networking and business development
- Managing care delivery, safeguarding, complaints and incidents
- Maintaining strong governance and quality assurance systems
- Monitoring care quality and client satisfaction
- Managing staffing, care hours and branch performance
- Supporting the commercial growth and profitability of the branch
- Creating a positive culture for clients, care workers and the wider team
Who We Are Looking For
We are particularly interested in someone who is entrepreneurial, ambitious and growth-focused, while maintaining a strong commitment to quality and compliance.
The successful candidate should have:
- Experience within domiciliary/home care
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and Fundamental Standards
- Registered Manager experience, or suitable experience and qualifications to become registered
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- Experience in recruitment and workforce development
- Good knowledge of safeguarding and care quality
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Confidence in developing relationships with clients, families and professionals
- A proactive approach to business development and growth
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Experience of establishing a new branch, developing private care, Live-in Care or healthcare staffing services would be advantageous.
Salary & Reward
From £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
