THE TEAM
JSM Group is a leading utilities infrastructure provider delivering complex digital infrastructure and civils projects across the UK. As part of our continued growth, we're on the lookout for an organised, proactive, and detail-driven Coordinator to support our Planned Maintenance Team.
SCOPE OF ROLE
You will support and assist the Project Managers responsible for administering the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA) and the Diversionary Works Code of Practice on behalf of the client Communications Provider. You'll help ensure the business unit stays compliant with NRSWA and the Diversionary Works Code of Practice, while promoting a positive image of the company.
HOW YOU'LL SUCCEED
Receive, log and record diversionary enquiries for client networks (C3 and PPO)
Prepare full sets of as-built records and utility drawings for each scheme ready for costing
Track and record all C3 and C4 estimates issued by Project Managers on a spreadsheet
Track and record all "live" C5/C6/C7 projects won on a spreadsheet
Take minutes for diversionary works meetings and issue to the team and client
Update and issue the contract project programme
Correspond with landowners, land agents and the client on trace and mark-up requests where the client network is on private land
Arrange for the Plant Protection Officer (PPO) to attend site surveys, and liaise with them to ensure they have a full project document pack
Liaise with the Utility Drawings Team on all affected S247 Stopping Up Orders and other enquiries affecting the client's network
Assist in compiling the weekly Project Review Report for Senior Manager's meetings
Support the wider Planning Team in any reasonable way to enable the smooth running of the department
WHAT IT TAKES
Good organisational and time management skills
Able to work accurately and methodically under pressure and to strict deadlines
PC literate
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Project
Understanding of the HAUC Diversionary Works Code of Practice
Confident when liaising with colleagues and other stakeholders
